CHCF PS/MS 279 After school students at the Celebrated Kindness during No Name Calling Week.

First to eight grade After-school students participated in a variety of activities with the goal to connect them with ways to celebrate kindness. Students shared videos, movies read articles and books connected to the topics on bullying, respect, and the values of others.
They worked together to inspire their classmates friends and families to Celebrate Kindness using visual arts expressions: paintings, videos, skits, advocacy and other art expression venues.

We culminated the week with a display of their collective efforts to create cultures of respect in their school and in their community.
Parents, staff and guests participated in their presentation and their creative expression exhibit wall.
