On May 14th, CHCF joined more than 2,000 human services workers and allies at the #JustPay rally outside City Hall to support Wage Equity Legislation (Int 0452), which seeks to align nonprofit and city government job titles and help close the 30% pay gap faced by nonprofit human services workers. CHCF was proudly represented by staff members from across the organization and our very own President and CEO, Ramon Peguero, ESQ. Team members from Early Head Start, the Family Child Care Network, ECEI, Social Services, Development, and our Finance team stood together to advocate for fair pay for the workforce that keeps New York City running. These workers ensure that children are educated, families are supported, and communities thrive, they deserve wage equity.
