June 12, 2023 (NEW YORK) — Year after year, the needs of parents and children grow more intense, whether it’s the ongoing mental health crisis among children, or the unprecedented economic demands facing child care providers across the country. The Committee for Hispanic Children & Families serves those needs holistically, and that means our work needs to grow.

Thanks to a generous gift from Mackenzie Scott, CHCF will make dramatic strides forward to serve our community. This level of support from Ms. Scott validates 41 years of service to the Latino community in New York City, among the most underdeveloped in the country.

“This gift from MacKenzie Scott means we can further our grassroots work across the city of New York,” said CHCF President & CEO Ramon Peguero, Esq. “We’re proud to be supported by her, and are grateful for her trust in us to serve our community.”

CHCF couldn’t be more grateful to be added to the esteemed list of organizations funded by Ms. Scott. Her support of our work only empowers our team to continue providing meaningful and impactful resources that are much needed.
