CHCF values the participation and active support of our community and corporate partners. We offer a variety of ways to donate your time.
Here are some ways you can help:
- Host a job shadowing day at your office for a high school student from one of our Youth Development Programs.
- Host or participate in a Career Day for students.
- Join a special event benefit committee.
- Help during the day in our home office.
Our Office Hours:
Monday – Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm
Summaries of Volunteer Work Options:
General Office Services – In this position, as a volunteer you will be assisting our staff with clerical work and helping with in-office duties such as answering phones, filing paperwork and other vital organizational based tasks.
Fundraising – In this position, as a volunteer you will be invaluable to helping our organization achieve our goals by helping us work on general market research as well as doing cold calls and stuffing and putting together envelopes that would be sent out on behalf of the organization.
Graphic Design –In this position, as a volunteer you will be able to put your creativity to productive use! You will be able to aid us by designing and printing flyers and creating graphics that our team can use in a variety of ways.
Communication/ Social Media – In this position, as a volunteer you will be helping us get the word out about our organization! Whether it’s through generating press for events that we have or even using social media platforms like Twitter as tools, you will be helping The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families connect with the community.
Photography/ Video – In this position, as a volunteer you will be able to put your passion or talent for photography/video to use! You will be able to help us create a strong visual presence by taking photos and videos of any number of the events we host throughout the year.
