Brooklyn Community Health & Resource Fair

On Saturday, July 31, 2010, CHCF's Early Care & Education Institute hosted a Community Health & Resource Fair at Capital One Bank in Brooklyn.  

For parents, the fair offered: Child Care Information; Infant & Toddler Specialists on Site; Child Development Information; Early Literacy Information & Training; Early Intervention Information; Nutrition Consultations; and Healthcare Consultations.

Our special guest, Dora, was there to entertain the children in attendance. Other entertainment for the children included music, arts & crafts, and face painting.

Through this community-based event, we were able to provide resources and services to over 130 families in Brooklyn.  Thank you to all the staff, volunteers, exhibitors and families who participated.
