TASC at PS 59

The TASC program at PS 59 strives to provide our children with enjoyable and exciting learning opportunities. Some of the activities offered include:

Homework help
Every participating student receives homework assistance for 45 minutes every day.

Tutoring Club
A new component to the program beginning in late February 2004, students who have been identified as in need of assistance in the areas of reading, writing and arithmetic will receive one on one tutoring. The tutors will work closely with the teachers to identify what area the student is most in need. Goals for improvement will be set for each student.
