Our After-school Program at PS/MS 279 hosted a special holiday activity for its first and second grade students on December 19, 2012. Berenice Gartner of Univision 41's "A tu lado" joined the students for a pajama party to read "Auntie Claus." The event began with each student receiving a gift bag with pajamas and slippers, generously donated and prepared by Univision 41 staff members. This was followed by a performance by the school's choir and then the reading.
It was truly a heart-warming activity and the students enjoyed everything. To close the event, Univision 41's Ramón Pineda, Senior Vice President and Regional Director, and Aida Rosario, Director of Communications, presented the after-school program with a gift of basketballs, hula hoops, and other sports equipment.
